No, we don't have memberships or contracts at Spa Daze. You can pay as you go or purchase a package of sessions.
Your Massage Therapist will advise you to "disrobe to the level of your comfort". You can leave your underwear on, you can wear swimwear or athletic wear, or you can choose to remove your clothing. You will be covered by a sheet during your treatment, private areas are ALWAYS covered & NEVER exposed, and we work around areas that are covered to protect client boundaries.
No, it's actually a sign of an effective massage treatment! It indicates that your nervous system is calming down and releasing beneficial endorphins, resulting in a spa daze! (See what we did there?)
We actually encourage you to work with more than one Massage Therapist for several reasons. Some clients enjoy different styles of work for different needs from deep/therapeutic massage therapy to relaxation/energy work. Also, if you need an appointment on a day that your practitioner is out or leaves Spa Daze, it's good to have a backup. Your care always comes first.
It happens, and it's ok! No one will take offense if you prefer a different style of work or personality. Your happiness and comfort is what we all strive for. Just let the desk know and we can discreetly match you up with someone else, and keep trying until you have found your perfect connection.
We have a variety of modalities to choose from. If you're unable to relax during a massage, your Therapist may recommend a Reiki or CranioSacral treatment to help "unravel" your nervous system. It's not uncommon for some clients to feel the need to ease into the relaxation process.
Our cancellation policy is to benefit clients who may be waiting for an appointment time to become available so they may receive their much-needed massage. We do run a cancellation list, so your timely consideration is very much appreciated!
Please give notice no later than 24 hours before your appointment if you are unable to keep your appointment to avoid a fee.
In order to compensate the Therapist for your scheduled time, there will be a deduction of a prepaid session or a gift certificate will be voided.
No-shows will be sent an invoice for their missed appointment which must be paid before returning.
Any appointments scheduled outside of a Therapist's scheduled shift or outside of our regular business hours are required to prepay with no refunds for no-shows.
A history of repeat cancellations will result in prepayment of all future services or termination of the working relationship.
If you are experiencing COVID symptoms or have been exposed to someone sick/COVID-positive, please reschedule your appointment. There is no penalty for your consideration.
Availability is posted within 30 minutes of the next available appointment time. If your preferred Massage Therapist isn't available, you may call us directly to see if they are on-call or try any of our other well-qualified Therapists. We also encourage you to call or use the form on our contact page if your preferred time isn't shown on our scheduling system.
Please call us at 520-334-1919 if you do not receive a confirmation or reminder when booking online. This means your appointment may not have been secured on our schedule.
For the ease & comfort of the child, adult supervision may be necessary and is encouraged. A child's comfort and trust is our TOP priority, therefore SWIMWEAR OR ATHLETICWEAR IS REQUIRED during all youth massages (under 18 yrs). We will not work on a minor who is unclothed or in underwear, and rescheduling will be recommended. Thank you for your understanding.
PLEASE reschedule your appointment. Not only should you stay home & rest, but laying face down in the face cradle will increase pressure to your sinuses. We also ask as a courtesy to not expose our Therapists or our work space, as we have clients who have compromised immunity or young children at home.
It interferes with the pure, organic massage oil & aromatherapy used during your service. It may also affect clients who are scent-sensitive following your appointment.
*Please be aware that we use the highest quality essential oils & incense throughout our facility, as we are an Aromatherapy spa. Please let us know in advance if you have allergies, asthma, and/or scent sensitivities so that we can make arrangements ahead of your appointment. We do try to accommodate if we can but understand if you require a referral to a scent-free provider elsewhere.
Exceptions are medical or family emergency ONLY. For all other calls, we ask that you not give attention to your phone while you are in session. Should you need to answer your phone, the treatment will stop during the call & resume when you are finished and the session will be completed at it's scheduled time. ASK ABOUT OUR "JUICE BAR" COMPLIMENTARY CHARGING STATION!! We can "power up" your device while you "power down".
You may disrobe to the level of YOUR comfort. There is no standard for what you are to wear (or not wear) for your massage. BY LAW, private areas on men & women are to be covered at ALL times. Some things to keep in mind, undergarments are a nonverbal boundary, the areas UP TO the underwear will be addressed. Men choosing athletic shorts, swim shorts, or boxers, keep in mind that we can only work on exposed areas of the leg and will work through the sheet for the upper leg, hip, and sacral areas. Women choosing to wear a bra or sports bra, it is certainly your choice, but please understand that treatment to the back is limited. For individuals who are comfortable without undergarments, you will be discreetly draped, and only work area's are exposed. Discretion, trust, and comfort is our TOP priority.
Whether it's face cradle comfort, bolster position, pressure adjustment, room temperature, stereo volume, or if you would prefer to stay quiet during your treatment, PLEASE let us know how we can improve your treatment experience. We don't want you to suffer through your session.
All major credit cards, including American Express. Health Savings Account Cards. Cash for service payment & gratuity is preferred, but not required. Checks are accepted from established clients only.
GRATUITIES:
Gratuities are gratefully accepted as a gesture of exceptional work. Cash is preferred, and you can also tip your provider directly on Zelle and Venmo!
Should you need to charge just a gratuity on your credit card...we have to ring up .01 cent to bring up a tip option on our merchant system.
We ask that you not tip with a gift card due to the substantial fees we are charged in order to accept them.
